3. The Largo from "The New World"
It's a traditional funeral piece, but I like it because of Dvorak's connection to Iowa...which is home for me.

5. The minister sang Danny Boy at my dad's funeral.
The minister had a beautiful voice. Dad liked that tune,I'd kinda like it sung when I shuffle off.

8. Two specific songs, plus a suggested playlist.
I'd like Yngwie's Far Beyond The Sun for when I'm being rolled out after whatever service.
I'd like Meshuggah's Obsidian for when they're actually lowering me into the ground.
And I want it loud. Louder than fuck. I am going out at maximum volume, goddammit!

Other than that, I have alerted my sibs to the fact that there's a playlist on my iTunes called "One And Done".
They can either play it or don't play it at the after party. After all, it's their party.

But I'm serious about the max volume for the burial. That's real important to me.

10. Funny you should ask, underpants. I have a running list of the "Soundtrack of my Life"
Here are the songs that I want to have played at my funeral/wake.

1. Theme from On Golden Pond- Dave Grusin (for my wife)
2. Claire de Lune-Claude Debussy (for my Mom)
3. Fields of Gold- Eva Cassidy (for the rest of my friends and family)
4. Blowin’ In The Wind- Peter, Paul and Mary (for the planet)
5. Send In The Clowns- Judy Collins
6. The Times of Your Life- Paul Anka
7. Both Sides Now- Joni Mitchell
8. Watching the Wheels- John Lennon
9. Cast your Fate to the Wind- Vince Guaraldi
10. On the Turning Away- Richie Havens
11. The Rainbow Connection-Willie Nelson
12. The Greatest Love of All-George Benson
13. Our Lady of the Well- Jackson Browne
14. Try to Remember- Ed Ames
15. The Circle Game- Joni Mitchell
16. My Man-Eagles

I am sure that more songs will be added as time goes on but the first four won't change.
