i worked at a subway in college and had a number of interactions that made me want to stab myself. my favorite one, though...

customer: yes, i'd like a club without ham on it. i don't eat pork.
me: sure
customer: oh yeah, can you put bacon on it
me: 0.o *facepalm*

7. It's kinda like what most vegetarians get in restaurants around here....
vegetarian: "What do you have without meat or meat products?"

waiter: "Well, we have chicken and fish...."


My old college roommate, when faced with the above conversation usually replied to the offers of chicken and/or fish with, "OK, let's put it another way: What do you have on the menu that doesn't contain anything that shits or bleeds?"
