OK Andy Griffith fans, Miss Crump or Miss Ellie Walker?
I'll make this easy. One was a mean, controlling, manipulative beee-otch. The other was a lovely flower.

:wtf:

Next week: "My Three Sons": wtf w/ getting married and Dody???!

1. Just a note:
Miss Ellie Walker ends up getting possessed by that lighty thing and spends eternity with Zefram Cochrane.

4. I thought it was Goober.
I thought Goober slipped her a few rufies and took her to live in a basement in Mount Pilot.

That goofiness was a front, he was a crankster and a dealer, I think.

12. Ahhh, Star Trek.
That's a long way from Mayberry! :P

21. I think it was actually the next soundstage over at Desilu.
There was one ST episode shot on the mayberry set-- you could see "Floyd's Barbershop" in one shot.

Was it a "trip back in time" episode?

24. Parallel universe episode.
In which the ship's engines ran on Aunt Bee's pickles instead of dilithium crystals.

15. Heh, hey...serves her right.
But as for Andy, there was that rich gal who was very pretty but Andy got teased about her from the barber so that was that. He got stuck with the boring school teacher.

31. Ahhh, Miss Peggy.
She was fine--and she sang. We were pissed he was too insecure to stick with her. Helen Crump was the beginning of the end, I say. The woman had a pickle up her arse and the jealousy thing was a pain.

Don't even get me started on Warren (the obnoxious deputy), Emmett, and Howard Sprague. Andy was obviously totally over Mayberry by the time it went color. :(

Is it a bad sign that I found Briscoe Darling one of the most appealing men on the show? :)

32. Warren & Howard Sprauge--- the grim reapers of Mayberry.
I could take Warren, but Howard Sprauge......:puke: He was such a boring character that he took away from a terrific show. He had no personality at all. Whoever created that character was a sadist!

I loved the Darling's & Ernest T. Bass. They at least had personalities!

33. I may be wrong. . .
but wasn't Howard Sprague the goon Bert (of Bert & Ernie) was patterned after? If not, the resemblance is a remarkable coincidence.

Warren's whole "huh? huh? huh?" routine made me sick to my stomach (same kind of idiocy that made "who's on first?" never funny to me). Once Barney moved to the big city, I knew it was over.

37. If he wasn't Bert, he should have been!! Perfect!
Although, I find Bert MORE LIKABLE! LOL

Hubby & I were watching TV a few weeks ago & a movie came on with "Howard Sprauge" (don't know his real name, nor do I want to) in it. I told him to change the channel, because I would not be able to watch it. I find him that disgusting.

3. OMG!
Crump emasculated Andy in episode #520.

Once they killed off Floyd the barber, went to color, and Opie got pubes, the show was really over.

Mayberry RFD?

Mayberry R.I.P, I say!

:wtf:

She had roles on Father Knows Best and Star Trek, that's a career.

And one day I'll tell you about a night of madness I spent in Mount Pilot with Charlene Darling...

I thought she would end up being the death of Andy.

Ellie, on the other hand, was a sweetheart.

28. Funny how much information about tv shows stays in your head.
I was at a convention a few weeks back and we were talking about old tv shows.

The question is did Andy and Helen get together, she did have her own house.
