Blackberry Storm users: Love it? Hate it?
Just discovered I was eligible to upgrade my cell phone two months ago, and there's a "Buy 1, Get 1 Free" deal going on right now for the Blackberry Storm. Any Storm users out there have any thoughts on it?

1. Love it...
but it'll be better once they update the OS for it (within the next couple of weeks).

2. Hate it with a passion. I am returning it and going back to my RAZR.
NEVER works. The alarm clock doesn't go off when set, the ringer does whatever it wants whether I have it on normal, vibrate, silent, etc.

My contact list keeps disappearing. Don't even get me started about the stupid touch screen that DOES NOT WORK.

3. I suppose you wouldn't consider an iPhone.
I missed the whole blackberry phase, went from a razr to the iPhone last year, love the new 3G.

The realtime navigation and Google Maps is better by far than my car's navigator.

4. Being an Apple guy, I'd LOVE to have an iPhone. However...
It seems as though Verizon's cell coverage is superior to that of AT&T. As I do a lot of traveling for gigs, I need to be able to get in contact with my fellow musicians. Along with that, they're all on Verizon, so the texting and calls are all "free".

5. Rumor: Verizon + iPhone deal.
I might like that myself.

I googled verizon and iphone and got this: http://apple20.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2008/09/29/rumor-an-iphone-for-verizon-in-2009/

I've heard of cracked iphones working with other providers, too.

Also iPhone unlocked for the verizon cdma network: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQQzOuq12I4
