Mother*!$#@ing Earworm! ARrrrg!
Been listening to the Darjeeling Ltd soundtrack, and this track snuck through a couple times. Now i can't get it out of my head, unless i blow it out with a bullet.

It's the Typewriter Tip Tip Tip Tip Tip song - from the indian movie Bombay Talkie

1. Try singing the theme from Gilligan's Island a few times.
The whole way through, then listen to some other less earwormy music. Gilligan may not be as irritating as the song in question.

5. No song or video is perfect.
But this one is fun, and with a few bits of interpretations I can see it as how the Heavenly Angels think about all of us.

Sure nobody should go through the window, and we all slip on the road once in awhile, but it is a nice catchy song.

For me the 'dancing for me' would be living in love and joy, which I think would make the angels smile. I like to think, You can find joy based on perceptions :)

It doesn't have to be an endorsement of all things about a person or song, just like it would never be right to think badly on all of a person or song. And her moxie is cute in the video, even if not perfect :) With all my faults, I would hate to try and nit pick a person or video :)

Its a fun Song !

9. That first video was fun.
Watching Mario fly around was relaxing. Nice choice of picture for that song :)

Where did you get your nick? I think it is the river that erases memory in Greek mythology, is that where? It was also the name of the plant Willow used on Tara.

I would be curious since memory is so important for society and individuals, I am wondering on how you think on that choice of nick?

10. well
i'm not an expert on greek mythology, but from what i've heard there were two choices when you died: lethe or mnemosyne.

if you drank from lethe you would forget everything in your former life, if you drank mnemosyne you would remember everything in your past lives, so you wouldn't be doomed to repeat your mistakes.

there has been romancing of lethe in some aspects, wherein you could drink and forget everything about your life and start anew.

i chose the name lethe because i am an alcoholic who drinks heavily, and i want to forget many things about my life.

just erased, to forget. i don't want to remember at all.

11. ah I see.
Well... I hope you find a way to find peace or as you say to forget the things that cause you suffering, I, like you, and everyone else, have challenges that I work on. Good luck and God Bless on the tougher things, and may your memory be full of the beauty that is also in your past.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and peace to you.

I won't forget the nice video of the fun Mario flying around, so I know you also share fun and good things. Which means that is part of you too! :)

12. well that was a nice thing to say
thank you

i usually never mention personal stuff like that on DU but that is the true genesis of the username. My old name was ikhor, another greek reference, archaic spelling.

i hope life finds you well, and may the sun shine on you.

13. This gets a little deep.
Might this be the reason we were told to remember communion on the night of the last supper not the day of the crucification...
