One look at those eyes and I knew I could never fake it

I hadn't even seen her in person, just a few photos on the internet and a description of herself. But I knew what kind of person was behind those eyes and she could use them to look right into your soul. I think she would really understand my madness. I think she would know that it would always be with me in some way despite all of the medication. She would certainly know that I'm not an ordinary trucker. I wish it was intelligence or compassion that set me apart from the rest, but, no, it's a serious flaw. Would she be alright with it? Would anybody? I think if anyone could it would be her.

I've sort of meshed fantasy with reality there. I hope she really is like that, though. However, I don't know if she'll even write back to me let alone go out on a date. She's intelligent, though, that comes across pretty clearly in her profile. I think she is probably really cool in person, even if she's not the superwoman I've made her out to be in the OP.

I've got news for you. It's not a "flaw" that sets you apart. There are plenty of people with mental issues in the world... with far more problems than you. Your kindness and insight, for starters, helps set you apart.
