2. Is this the same quest that I think it is?
If so, send me a PM. One of my colleagues works in Geneva but lives in France. I can ask her, if that would help. ;)

10. That's weird!
I did remember the French, but don't know if I'd have recalled the word itself. Parapluie is EASY, but PAMPLEMOUSSE????!!!

Kind of sounds like the Germans just gave up, E'babe!

13. Hahaha.....
We took our kids to France when they were
aged 4 & 7...

The 7-year old is a real chow-hound, and
had pretty much deciphered the language
of ordering food by the time we left
the TRAIN STATION!

Pamplemousse took a little longer to
figure out, it seemed to be in everything.

When we figured out it was grapefruit she
was astounded.

It's one of our favorite French words,
intrinsically FUNNY.

I enjoy my "freedom fries" ...my "freedom bulldog" ...and the "freedom maid" outfit I wear on Halloween.

...Did I mention the "freedom kisses?" & "freedom ruffles" that occur around my bed?

(When it comes to sharing the tab though -- I prefer to go Dutch.)
