Oh man! The freepers went way overboard in their 'Support the Troops' Nuremberg rally. The flags, I applaude; the yellow ribbons, I cheer; the naked hatred of those who would not have sent them to their deaths in the first place, I despise. These cowardly war-mongers just don't get it. Driving over the overpass on the way to Madigan Army hospital to visit my grandfather, I remarked to my brother, quoting Sean Connery in 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade': "Well, we're pilgrims in an unholy land."
