How do I send liquid through the USPS?
Not flammable or anything. Maple Syrup.

1. wrap it in plastic explosive
and make sure bits of wire protrude from the packaging.

2. I've sent honey just fine - wrap in in bubble wrap, pack it in peanuts - mark fragile.

6. What HopeHoops said.
Wrap it completely with bubble wrap. If you're sending more than one jar wrap each one individually. Center the jar(s) in the box and fill all of the dead space in the box with more cushioning (use the dreaded peanuts or more bubble wrap or air packs.) If there's more than one jar, make sure to pad between them. When you close the box and shake it, you shouldn't be able to hear movement of the jars.

3. I think as long as it isn't alcohol you can send liquids.
As far as packing it safely, I might wrap some electrical tape around the cap to help prevent leaks. Then a box with some "popcorn" so it doesn't get bashed around in handling. :)

11. Pour it through a funnel
into the mailbox on the corner

I'm sure it will end up several places that way...

12. My friend just sent me a ziploc bag of Amish Friendship Bread starter.
It came in a bubble wrap lined envelope with a notation on the front: Liquid Bread Starter Enclosed.

It got here just fine.

13. If you send it in an open jar, be sure to put "This side up!" on the outside of the box.
