One of my young students won first place in a talent show, with over 30 contestants!

10. He's only 8...

...but I taught him the permutations between the Pentatonic scale, and Mixolydian mode. Josh is a sponge.

Never underestimate "children". Always assume that they have something to teach you -- regardless of your own hardships...

11. and they HAVE, MUCH to teach us/me!

My 'children' are 20 and 24, and the great stuff keeps happening (along with usual 'bad,' but that's life i guess.) They're BOTH great teachers, somehow inherent, and so observant. So they teach me things about TEACHING! (I'm just a parent, NOT a teacher.)
