What will be the effect of the Watchmen movie?

I know the studios fucked up From Hell but once they made V for Vendetta I think it made up for it. And Watchmen makes up for Sleepy Hollow.

Literally true, yes. A massive understatement? Also yes.

Watchmen - both book and film - is certainly not for everyone. But there's a LOT more going on, intellectually and philosophically, than "masked heroes kick the shit out of villains."
