5. Seriously, what's going to happen to people who had investments
that they were expecting to live on, now that they're all dried up? I fear yet another crisis.

:wow: Doing better than most.

Just cashed out what was left of my meager retirement account. Down 75% in value and I was getting a shady vibe from them.
I doubt it was on the up and up.... supposed to get my money on Monday. Hope I got out soon enough.

4. Mine is invested and managed by the denonimation.
I still have a fund left, but it's irritating to see how small it is, when the churches I've worked for have been paying in for 22 years. A year ago--when my dad was here for Easter--I was showing him my statement, and he said he was glad to know I'd have plenty to live on...that he didn't have to worry about my future (isn't that good of him?). Should I tell him it's time to start worrying?
