1. Rascal Flatts is NOT evil!
Thanks for making me remember my twenties again. Those were really good times, and Rockie Mountain jeans were awesome.

3. Rascal Flatts. What a dick.
I want to punch him in the throat and tell him to stop that fake twangy asshole bullshit.

And then punch him in the brain and see if I can jiggle it enough that it becomes creative.

6. They're not evil, they're just modern, glossy & saccharine country pop
Not my bag, but some folks dig it.

7. This time I agree - I'm not a fan
Edited on Sat Mar-07-09 11:48 PM by mvd
I do like some country, though: Dixie Chicks, Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Hank Sr., Merle Haggard, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Patty Loveless, Martina McBride, Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Jessica Harp, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Alison Krauss, Doug Stone, etc.

And if they are considered country - Neko Case, Lucinda Williams, Kasey Chambers, Michelle Branch/The Wreckers, Steve Earle...

11. Dude. I have to tell you.
I was on my way to watch a show choir competition today and totally started laughing in the car about the 'makes my ass looks fat' comment. I had to go and buy a new printer and it just 'popped' into my head.

So much so that the girl at McDonald's, where I stopped in the Drive thru to get an iced tea thought I was laughing at her.

I'm laughing right now about the 'It's very exciting' thread.

12. It's gooey and sentimental
but I'm an unwashed and ignorant dullard, so I think it's a nice song.
