Should sake be consumed chilled or warm?
I've never had it before and bought a small bottle this afternoon.

1. I've always had it warmed, but I think you can drink it both ways.

3. As always, James Bond has the answer
Tanaka asks James, "You like Japanese sake, Mr. Bond - or would you like a vodka martini?" James replies, "Oh no, I like sake, especially when it's served at the correct temperature, 98.4F, like this is."

8. Only an uncivilised person would do such a thing
Some culture would be appreciated

4. It used to be strictly warm, but certain kinds now are made to be drunk chilled.
There--that doesn't help at all, does it? :7

6. My pref: Warm in winter, cold in summer.
Damn I kinda miss that.
Haven't had any in about 10 years.
Not since Narita layovers.
Too much was a real skull cracker, though.
:-(

7. Depends on the quality of the sake and personal preference...
I prefer to drink cheap sake warm and expensive sake cold.

9. Some sake is brewed to be served cold
I prefer the toasty varieties myself.
