2. I'm guessing that for the person who wrote that sign, English is a second language.
He communicated the message, though.

Let's here it for teachers!

And for people who can speak more than one language! B-)

3. OK - true story nearly on the subject
I was working as a line foreman for a manufacturing concern. My immediate supervisor was a recent college graduate who had a low opinion of working people. She had a real superior attitude that jumped out when she spoke to you.
The line I was in charge of was made gift product. As such it was very low on the maintenance pecking order. Add to that it was also where most new hires started when they came in the door. All the ingredients to make for poor line performance.
I had only been line foreman for a couple weeks when I got this hand written message from her listing all the problems, blaming me and having a veiled threat that I better do something or there would be consequences. The message was so poorly written with misspellings, incorrect words and tenses that did not agree that it was nearly incomprehensible.
I took her note to lunch. I got a red pen from the nurse's office and corrected her message. Then I put the corrected message on her supervisor's desk. I had given her an "F" with a comment that someone in her position should have much better communication skills.
She never talked to me again. Shortly after she was moved to a new job and was taking remedial rhetoric at the university. She left the company within a year.
Oh and I did have a teaching certificate in secondary ed social studies.

5. An F seems a bit harsh, any chance for a D-?
