I would guess that right after eating it did the self annointing thing. Start frothing at the mouth and spreading the foam over the quills on their back.

My cousin's wife breeds them. I'd love to have one, but I'm afraid the poor little thing would be viewed as merely a spiky snack by the three MG kittehs. :(

It cant' be healthy to feed a hedgehog candy, but I think I saw that same video before with a caption saying that it was a piece of carrot. :P
