You know how there are the Elks, the Moose, the Eagles, and other social clubs

They are in almost every city, their membersips are often aging, and almost all of the locations have a bar (and often a restaurant that does something like a Friday steak fry).

Would it be wrong for Democrats between the ages of -- oh say 25-55 to join one of these organizations en masse, take it over, and have a place where we can all drink beer, boxed wine, and not ever, ever, ever have to hear Limbaugh or watch FAUX News while on the premises?

In short -- can DU form a powerful, national service club that serves booze and fries steaks?

A local Eagles club has rummage sales, karoake, record sales...anything to draw in new people...they're trying really hard to connect and they do have their own bar and restaurant...
