Why would people vote for Bush?
Why? why? why would anyone vote for Bush? After all we now know about 911, The Medicare law is a disgrace, over time pay was cut, gas prices are over 2.oo a gallon, CIA Leek from the White House, VA. benefits cut, 2 million jobs lost, over 550 of our kids dead and thousands others wounded. Lies on top of lies.... If your thinking about voting for Bush Please tell me why? The Democratic Kid...

1. think negative
republicans have been more successful at giving democrats and the left a bad name than democrats have been at giving republicans and the right a bad name.

fortunately, republicans and the right are starting to give themselves a bad name....

2. I'm certainly not voting for him, but I can tell you why millions will.
1) The core rightwingers. This is their only game in town.
2) Millions of APOLITICAL voters vote for president as they would class president; they vote for the one they LIKE best personally. They want to form some sort of personal connection with the candidate they choose, and more will IMAGINE they have this bond with bush, than they will Sen Kerry (this was also Gore's fatal problem).

We saw this in 1984: millions really disagreed with Ronnie's policies, but they voted for him anyway, because they LIKED him. Remember, *most* voters are NOT idealogues; they do not think the way we do....

8. It seems they do not think at all...

There is no point in voting if it boils down to image or the rather sad mindset of "I like him better so I voted for him, may I have a wowwipop now, mommy?" This is America, land where people choose based on image and NOT on policy?

I can't say anything more on the subject, it would be reeeeeally depressing... but I will say that the voters' mindset speaks volumes of America. I btcha the rest of the world will see this as well. Should * be voted in again, it will LOOK as if we support * and his horrid policies. Says a lot about the world, but unlike Americans, the world actually has a valid point when denouncing us as evil selfish power-abusing warmongering savages...

Not to discount 9/11, but it's been proven time and again that Hussein had no involvement, amongst other things...

10. Gay, trying desperately to maintain the lie.

9. They have a genetic mutation that causes them to be stupid.

8. Bush has only renforced their intense hatred of pretzels.

7. God told them to.

6. Thought it was a "Rock" poll, misread the "B" as an "R".

5. Secret desire is to die a miserable death at the hands of terrorists.

4. "Bush" ...heh, heh... I would vote for that.

3. Dick Cheney's bald head makes them horny.

2. Laura Bush is a saint, and would never marry a bad man (Finnfan's sister only).

9. Bush has given them patriotism......
Patriotism is supposed to be about love of country. But as its practiced it is
often quite another thing.

A very brilliant thearapist I knew(before he died) once said that
partiotism is one of the few ways people are allowed to feel flat-out good
about themselves, and so the biggest "patriots" are often people who
don't have a lot going for them. You don't have to look too closely at those
people with the flag decals all over their car to see his point.
Many of those people also don't seem to get along with others very well.
These lovers of country hate an awful lot of their fellow countymen.

They need patriotism, and they love Bush for giving it to them.

I've been thinking recently about how 9/11 happened only 6 years after
the bombing in Oklahoma City, where the culprit turned out to be a blond
all-American military veteran. With the 9/11 attacks we were allowed to relocate
the enemy in the form of the foriegn, brown-skinned, and alien-cultured. What a
relief! We don't have think about uncomfortable, confusing things like the
forces that produced Timothy McVeigh.

11. Because you have shit for brains.
Face it - most Americans want everything presented to them in black and white. We are spoiled by prosperity and don't have the desire to see the real truth. Just leave me alone so I can buy my Lexus.

12. They are morans, all of them
they can't think for themselves. Rush tells them Bush has done great things for the country, they all repeat in zombie like voices...BUSH GOOD! Ann Coulter says Dems are evil....cue the Zombies again...BUSH GOOD!
They are black adn white thinkers who can't figure anything out for themselves. If the facts don't support what Rush tells them, then the facts are lies.
Morans, all of them! :bounce:
