Help! Dinner out with eight of us tonight. Four are Republicans.
The other three are kids.

Who do I spend my time talking to? I fear both shall rot my brain.

5. Honestly, this is my first instinct.
A close second is to declare an immediate ban on religion and politics from the get-go.

However, to drink a bit and then just sit and watch could be fun.

4. I second - talk to the kids.
They can be most entertaining, and very enlightening.

Good luck at your dinner party.

6. Offer to stay home and babysit the kids.
And ask them to bring dinner back for you. That, or go with the suggestion above to drink heavily. :7

9. As soon as you sit down,
tell them you're under indictment, and really feeling nervous about it, but you can't go into details. Yet.

Or, tell them you're gay.

Or, if you're gay, tell them you're straight now.

Or, ask if anyone else feels something moving on the seat where they're sitting.

Or, tell them you're getting married.

Or, if you're married, tell them you're getting divorced.

Or, show someone your finger, and ask, "Does this look infected to you?"

After that, ask them to smell your finger, see if it smells funny.

Or, tell them you've had explosive diarrhea all day, but you're feeling much better now, and you're REALLY hungry.

Or, tell them you've been having a craving for human flesh, pass me that menu.........................
