Just overheard in the cubicles:
My co-worker is leaving for a Hawaiian vacation next week. She's spent the last 20 minutes calling her credit card carriers to tell them she will be "out of the country".

Permission to :banghead:

4. You should tell her the state department requires a passport, birth certificate
and social security card to get back in the country.

7. I'd just laugh
if her credit cards were declined next week because someone in the states tried to buy something.

6. A few years ago, my whole family went to Hawaii
My mom kept telling my younger sisters they could drink there, "because it's an island!" Everyone was like, "but it's a state. You have to be 21 to drink here."

My mom was actually surprised that I was the only one of the kids old enough to drink in Hawaii.

It's pretty difficult snagging a visa for Hawaii. I hope she has all her shots.

13. Remind her that the country of Hawaii requires a Visa, and four weeks of Hepatitas-B shots
But if she calls her Senator, she/he can provide special permission for a doctor to give the four week regimen in one week.

14. I'd be tempted to break the bad news to her
just to see the look on her face...:evilgrin::evilgrin:

But there is something to be said for letting her find out the hard way...or waiting until she returns. ;)
