This is what worn out looks like.
She hadn't napped ALL day and when daddy handed her over to mama, less than a minute later, probably 30 seconds, this happened.

BTW, her nap lasted like 20 minutes!!

2. we used to say "1 second eye blink, 2 second eye blink" as the kiddo was
fighting sleep...

that's so cute. Isn't it wild when they are so tired though, and refuse to sleep?

3. That is the story of her life. The people at daycare asked how I got her to take naps.
I said when you figure it out, let me know!!!

5. If they could only invent a baby device that really mimicked
car rides!! That would be golden!

7. one time I even set the carrier on top of the drier (that didn't work, though)

baby swings were always good so that mom and dad could ACTUALLY eat dinner!

8. We did that too -- with both kids.
We had what we called "the loop" that we drove. My daughter required more looping than my son, and then she'd often wake up when we got her out of the car. What a gas-burner. :eyes:

I remember those days!
The No Nap Too Busy To Sleep days.

And, then the longer naps start kicking in.
20 minutes here, 30 minutes there, then YAY!
Into hour and a half naps for the next two years or so *whew*

Bella is so smart she just doesn't want to miss a single moment! :loveya:
