Strange question....having to do with soda choice
I've always chosen Pepsi as my soft-drink of choice ( as long as I can remember ) Lately, though I've been drinking Coke ( my roommate buys it all the time ) every now-and-then I'll take a glass....now I think I'm leaning more towards Coke. I never thought this would happen, since I really used to HATE Coca-Cola ( I always thought it was too syrupy and too sweet ) but it just seems lately it has more of a "kick" to it, if that makes any sense.

Am I headed towards a mid-life crisis now? Have I angered the Pepsi gods?

1. Coke rules.
A Coke from a glass bottle should HURT when you drink it. That is all.

2. Ewwwwwww.
I'd never give up Pepsi for Coke. Coke is way too acidic. My teeth hurt just thinking about it.

13. I like R.C too...but the only place I can find it is in supermarkets
none of them are close to me...I don't drive now, so it's the local mini-mart or Wawa and they don't have R.C cola

6. heretic!
i grew up with pepsi and it's always my first choice on the very rare occasions i drink soda. however, i've found that coke is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than pepsi if you're hungover.

9. NOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I'm not a heretic, I swear!
Listen...last week ( I left this out of the OP, and I shouldn't have ) but I got a nasty stomach virus from one of my co-workers ( yes, I know it was her! ) and I ended up on my back in bed for about two days, and all that was in the apartment was Coke...there was two bottles in the fridge, and it did help my stomach. I don't know, but after that I started drinking more of it....

Yes...I ALWAYS preferred Pepsi...Coke was like drinking maple syrup to me, but whatever the ingredient in that stuff is really made my stomach feel better!

10. it does settle the stomach much better than pepsi
my problem isn't the sugariness, but the weird, almost metallic aftertaste

18. I meant spiking it so it tastes better to you.
The history of coke is that it used to actually have cocaine in it. It was a joke. :P

:D heh...yeah, whenever I brought Pepsi home he refused to drink it, no matter how much he wanted soda that night...some people are funny that way! :hi:

19. Yep, I always loved Coke better than Pepsi,
but Dr Pepper has always been what I nurse throughout the day. I can see how if you like one, the other isn't normally your thing. So, I meant spiking it as in adding something to make you like it better. :hi:

22. I like coke too but they have made it with high fructose corn syrup in the last

20 years as opposed to sugar (I think). So it would be less sweet. I prefer the old coke from a glass bottle which you cannot get. I drink diet coke these days.

23. Coke is less sweet than Pepsi.
That's why Coke tried their "New Coke" experiment way back, because they thought their old product wasn't sweet enough for modern tastes. That's why I drink Coke--I find Pepsi too sweet and syrupy.
