So what did you give/receieved for Valentine's Day?
I sent a large stuffed leopard toy and some sour candy to my SO.

I haven't received anything yet, but then I slept late and haven't ventured out yet. :P

4. Making a special dinner for my wife, sent a cake to my daughter
I have to head out to go shopping for dinner
oysters, steak frites w/ sauted spinach, chocolate lava cakes

But the sexiest thing is I'm going to clean the house and do the laundry while she is out doing some shopping therapy.

5. My husband bought me two books, a picture frame, and
a Starbucks gift card (I am addicted).

One book is The Reader. Can't remember the other right now.

Nothing too fancy. It is all about Bella this day! She is our new love.

6. My gift to my husband was
A toasted bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, and tomatoes. He loves these and getting them fresh in the morning requires a bit of a trek to the next town over.

I have a mystery gift that "might not arrive today", BUT my birthday's in four days and we're going out tonight with some friends and after I drop the boys off at my ex's, the rest of the weekend alone, so it's all good! :woohoo:

11. Mr. MG and I agreed on no gifts
We're going out for Indian food for dinner while grandma watches MG Jr. I did give Mr. MG some chocolate, though. We gave MG Jr. some Legos, some Star Wars action figures, the second Indiana Jones movie, a video game, a video game guide, and some candy. He's playing the driving game right now, all blissed out.

Also, a nice dinner at a tapas restaurant.

30. Well, I guess my heart was bored, because it gave me a trip to the ER and a night in the CCU.
Well, technically this was pre-Valentine's day, but the coincidence was not lost on me.

When I got home, I realized I was in the middle of a new post - my anger, frustration and indecision about going to the ER (without insurance). Obviously the pain won out over the expense/inconvenience. It was rather eerie, though to read my "rant", interrupted mid-sentence and never posted. I think I may still post it as a before/after sort of thing. What a scary couple of days.

I would have preferred chocolate, actually.... : )

35. Also glad you're ( apparently ) OK--
I spent a night in the ER of the Heart Hospital last April, and did a heart catheterization the next day. I'll be paying that off till 2019( not making that up unfortunately). But I needed to get some things checked out and dealt with and so did you, it sounds like. Again, glad you're home and alive and at least reasonably well.

31. DH was out of town on business, got back today.
He brought me some chocolates from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Company (Denver) and a surfboard refrigerator magnet from Newport Beach CA. I think he got the chocolates at the Denver airport during his plane transfer LOL.

I got him a bag of popcorn/chocolate/peanut mix and a really cute candy iPod (a box of candies, roughly iPod shaped, wrapped up and and a song list pasted to the front with a couple strings w/ candy kisses attached as ear buds). It was cute, what can I say?
