we have come to a decision
that we now think our weird behaving 9 month old Dora kitty....
is probably at least a quarter or half (pixi-bob)...maybe more.
She might be full on pixie-bob without the extra toes or short tail (this is possible in the breed)

at first we thought she was a muted tortoise shell tabby.
however, she at 9 months, is bigger than my 12 year old siamese, Miss Kitty (and she's not tiny at 13lbs...and not fat)

we did some looking -- had never even heard of a pixi-bob.

She's got the tuft ears, the big paws (although she only has the regular amount of toes), her paws are huge, the toes seem larger than i've seen before,
her wiskers go from black to white, her lips are black, her nose is wild shaped, her paw pads are black, the skin around her eyes is black, the face is dead on for this breed,
she chirps (we have only heard one real meow), likes to fetch, follows you around the house like the dog, plays with socks like a dog.
She has the right coloring. She's got the weird shaped head. Her tail is not really that short, but it's also not long like the other 2 cats we have.
Strangely smart. Realllllly feisty. Really a live wire, but also a cuddle bucket. The world is her toy. She wants to eat all the time!!!
Does not understand "do not want to play!" from the other kittys.

She's just different.

She just ran out of my office with the dog's sock.

I don't have a good picture of her right now, but I found some online that look like her

1. I never heard of a pixi-bob either.
Hasten thee with pictures of thine actual cat, Dora! :)

2. I wonder if my two are this as well.
The litter was found in a national forrest in the mountains. They look and act a lot like how you have described. Interesting info. Thanks for posting.
