anyone know where I could get a good MP3 player and a portable CD player

I need a MP3 player that can hold anywhere from 1-20GB and is affordable. I need a portable CD player that is affordable and can play MP3s too.

you can get them for roughly half the mail-order cost...and if you're willing to chance somebody's used one, even less.

Nowadays I think most portable CD players play MP3s...

4. I dont have enough time really for that

and I need an CD player that doesnt studder or stop if say I am running; its called shock or something like that. I go on vacation this friday, and besides my parents dont trust ebay really. Thanks

and yes, make sure the CD player has anti-shock or skip recovery.

6. hmm I have a pretty good CD player

I also believe it will play MP3, I haven't tried yet on that.

I have the AIWA ultimate jogger? I think that is what it is called. I do know that the shock saver does work well.

I don't have a CD player in my car so I use a tape adapter. I have to make sudden stops on the freeway before and the CD player went flying off the pasenger's seat and hit the floor pretty hard and kept on playing and never missed a beat.

I paid about $60 at Best Buy for that model about 1.5 years ago.

8. I have a Memorex

portable CD player that plays MP3's off CD-R's too. Cost me $65 at Target, with the car kit included.

The MP3 player, will undoubtedly cost you a lot more.

9. Sony CD Player

It's out in the car, so I don't have the model number, but it's the one with the metal latch and the orange gasket, costs about $125 (less if you get it without radio, weatherband and TV band) and is practically indestructable. Doesn't skip when dropped, and plays MP3s on CD. It has two different shock settings, and I keep it on the lower one and as I said, won't skip even when dropped on that setting. I love it.
