Are you ready for Valentine's day?
I love to remind my married friends of this every year. While I don't know if any of them are cheating on their wives, it does make them cringe when I warn them that Feb 14th is the busiest day of the year for private investigators.

“We call it the 'Festival of Lies,'” said Paul Dank, whose Michigan-based firm runs a Web site called cheatingspousepi.com. “It's the holiday of romance, and if they're having a romance with someone other than their spouse, they're definitely going to spend some sort of special moment with them.”

Not so coincidentially, more divorces are filed in the last 2 weeks of February than any other period of the year.

3. I haven't hired a PI, if that's what you mean!

And no, I'm not prepared--but I'm more worried about getting MG Jr. to sign his 18 Valentine's Day cards for school than I am about making plans with Mr. MG. Cards, flower for me :D, and dinner with some uninterrupted adult conversation is all we ask.

4. I think I know where to buy a hammer
but I'm not sure where I can get a porcelain or ceramic heart.

Lets see if I can end a loving relationship! Do you think anyone's following me?

8. Well
The things I learn in the Lounge!

Smart, really, if you think about it. My sister once hired a PI to follow her hubby. They never caught him, but she found out another way. If I'd known this - back then - it could have been useful.

10. It is a moment of truth, even for single people.
If the person you're dating gets "sick" that night or wants to end the night early...you lost.

14. I'm not especially worried about it.
My husband asked me to get a babysitter for that night, but our regular babysitter has a date!
