Dookus' Day: A Diary of Unemployment

8:45 am: Cat jumps on head
8:46 am: Apologize to cat for throwing him. Consider getting out of bed. Decide to sleep on the idea.
11:32am: Get out of bed. Ignore dirty look from cat.
11:33am: Log on to DU. No mod warnings. Day looking good.
12:00pm: Walk to local coffee shop. Read paper, drink coffee.
12:45pm: Walk home, log onto DU. Look for a good fight to join.
1:05 pm: Start up the Xbox. Play SSX3 until frustrated.
1:08 pm: Turn off Xbox.
1:30 pm: Watch Crossfire. Yell at TV. Scare cats.
2:00 pm: Check on status of fights on DU.
2:20 pm: Check email for unexpected job offers. Delete 116 offers for Viagra and/or penis enlargement. Wonder who's been talking about me.
3:00 pm: Naptime.
4:30 pm: Check DU. Old fights have sunk. Pick new ones. Start vanity thread in Lounge.
5:15 pm: Big decision of the day: Chinese, pizza or mexican?
6:15 pm: Decision made. Go get burrito.
7:00 pm: Watch Simpsons repeats
8:00 pm: Back to DU. The best fights are at night. Kick own vanity thread in lounge.
11:00pm: Daily Show
11:30pm: Check news online. Check status of fights. Kick vanity thread again. Plan to go to bed early.
2:30 am: Give up on plan to go bed early. Continue fight.
4:00 am: Go to bed. Admonish cat to behave this time.

it's actually more of a snub than a dirty look. they turn their backs on you and make a point of letting you know they're NOT looking at you.
