I can remember dozens of IP addresses, usernames and passwords and server names...
know exactly what OS is installed on over a 50 different servers, and what packages are on each of those servers, and what client owns which servers.

I know four programming languages, as well as the tricky novelties of cross browser javascript, and the nuances of CSS vs mode vs browser. I've memorized more functions, with their parameters, than I care to think about.

And yet I have to stop and think, and think hard, about whether or not my wife's name ends with an H, and whether or not the E comes before the A in my middle name. And frankly, I often get these two things wrong. It's really embarrassing when I get these things wrong too.

The brain is a mysterious thing.

1. I hear you.
I can remember an answer I gave on an underwriting question two weeks ago, but don't ask me my brother's birthday.

4. Personal information
I just can't remember that stuff.

I call everyone 'hey you' because I can't do names.

2. My brain is a suppository of useless knowledge.
If it's useless, I can pull it right out of my ass at the drop of a hat. If it's useful or important, I can't remember a damn thing.

6. I choose my words well.
Because most people don't know fancy words these days, so in casual conversation most words are useless. Therefore I got a whole bunch of 'em stored away. :P

8. On the third date with my future wife
I decided things were getting serious, so I should ask her to tell me her last name again.

:yoiks:

Before then, I didn't want to expend any brain cells storing temp data.

PS: As a matter of fact, I am a (former) rocket scientist.
