7. Sadly, no. You can me "Richard", or you can call me "Sir", but if you call me "Sir Richard"....
...Her Majesty the Queen just goes all fucking APESHIT.
Curses the servants for DAYS, so I'm told.

Despite what you may have heard, or the photos you've seen,
she wasn't actually trying to KNIGHT ME on the afternoon in question.
She's just too frail to hardly even lift that antique broadsword,
let alone swing it fast...and I timed my DUCK just right.

It's GOOD to be the RICHARD!

3. My dear Shine!
It's apparently traditional to allow members to change their user names after every national election...

I wasn't here in 2004, so this is new to me.

It's very disorienting!

I'm glad to see you're still you, sweetie!

How's school going?

You have been missed...

6. Oh, thanks for the explanation.
I agree, it's disorienting. I have no desire to change my name, so don't worry it'll never happen on my end.

School has been a great adventure. I got straight A's my first quarter, I have to brag!! (I'm proud of myself)I'm learning a lot and it's been both challenging and stimulating. After making it thru the intensely steep learning curve of the first quarter of grad school and adjusting to academic life again, after 22 yrs, I've determined to make sure I create more Balance this time around by making sure I schedule in enough time to exercise. I was so stressed out for most of the first qtr I dropped it out completely and it wasn't good.

However, what that means is getting up at 5am to do it. So far, I'm 3 wks into a new routine of getting up super early and going to bed super early. I need to capitalize on the time the kids are in school, so that's what it takes. I go to the gym from 5:30-6:30am . Ugh. It's intense, but it's also great cuz I'm done with my workout before 7am and can have the rest of the day for schoolwork and studying, etc...

This is waaaaay too late for me to be up, truthfully. Tomorrow I'm not at the gym, though. I had a late afternoon coffee drink, which wasn't smart.

I'm learning what works and what doesn't work. :D Anyway, thanks for asking. I'm not around as much, but when I pop in it's always a pleasure to see you, dear friend. :loveya: Hope all's well with you and the family.

8. It's a treat to see you too!
We're fine, thanks...

I just got back from DC, visiting DU friends and seeing the Inaug sort of close-up...didn't go, but went to the Mall on Wednesday...

Check out my Journal for two threads on my visit!

I know you'll do well in school!

:loveya:  :loveya:
