This is the sound of my head hitting the desk. My stupid work waits until the last. possible. second. to send out our w-2's, so I haven't been able to do mine yet. And I have to wait for it, because there's info on it I need. Farging bastages.

25. Takes me close to a month, working several hours a day, to do our taxes.

Joint return (includes hubby's private practice income), returns for two trusts, help my oldest son do his (he'll probably itemize this year since he bought his first home in 2008) and probably help my youngest son do his for the first time this year since he had his first part-time job in 08 (used to do his for him). Both boys are beneficiaries of one of the trusts, which is why they've had to file returns since their grandmother
died.

Last year I mailed 8 tax returns. Before my oldest son started doing his taxes with just me helping, I used to mail 10 tax returns every year.

I HATE tax season.
