Were you ever afraid of Muenster cheese?
The first time I ever heard of it, "The Munsters" was still on TV and I was afraid to open the refrigerator for a few days.

1. In France
I loved the Muenster cheese I had in the US growing up. When I went to France, I found out that the only similarity between European and American Muenster cheese is the name. That shit smelled like a combination of baby poop and dead animals. We bought some at the grocery store, because I wanted it, and then when we were back at my GFs place unpacking the groceries, something smelled really bad. I thought something in the fridge had turned, but it was the cheese in the shopping bag. It went right in the trash, and then the trash went downstairs to the dumpster. Never again!!

3. Thanks for the warning.
I'll remember that if I'm ever in Europe. I don't see how anyone can eat any of those stinky cheeses. It took me many years before I could even eat Parmesan cheese or pizza.

4. Not because of the name - I was afraid of the evil orange stuff on the edges!!!!
I made my mother cut it off.
