I think I will take the Christmas lights down tomorrow,

I am running out of reasons to kept putting it off.

It will take a good 2 hours to take them down and pack them away.

4. I just took my tree down today...

And now there is a big gaping hole that needs to be filled with something. I am really not used to all this space. I was joking that I was going to turn it into a Valentine's tree...and then a Shamrock tree...Easter...Flag Day...well you get the idea. :)

8. It doesn't matter when you take them down now...

... you didn't take them down on or before Epiphany (Jan 6th)... so if the old rule is actually true you have a years worth of bad luck on you.

But then one year we left our (artifical) tree up until April, and we didn't suffer any ill effects...
