It's gonna be slicker than snot on a doorknob
Statement as of 5:38 PM CST on January 26, 2009

... Ice Storm Warning now in effect from 6 am Tuesday to 12 PM CST
Wednesday...

The Ice Storm Warning for significant icing is now in effect from
6 am Tuesday to 12 PM CST Wednesday.

Temperatures are expected to fall below freezing during the day
Tuesday as an Arctic cold front moves through the region. Rain
will change over to freezing rain by Tuesday afternoon for all
areas within the Ice Storm Warning. Temperatures will remain
below freezing through Wednesday morning as periods of light
freezing rain will continue. Total ice accumulations of one
quarter inch are likely with isolated one half inch amounts.

All precipitation will end after sunrise Wednesday but
temperatures should remain below freezing until afternoon.

An Ice Storm Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Significant amounts of ice accumulations
will make travel extremely dangerous or impossible.

2. Oh, hey, thanks for that!
Snot on a doorknob. I shall think of that instead of enjoying the winter scenery.
Sigh.
