1. Tossup between Mulholland Drive and Inland Empire.
But I adore them all.

5. Cool.
BTW, my new nick is not about the movie, as much as I like it; it's about its namesake poem, and the overall cosmology of Twin Peaks.

4. Tough choice
I love Twin Peaks, but it's got some rough patches.

Mulholland Drive is perfect from the swing dancing to the word "silencio."

8. Dune sucked so bad
that it made Ishtar look good...

But then... I hated - HATED the book. Dune... The mother of all time wasters.

12. "Eraserhead" made the strongest impression on me
but not in a good way. Creepiest movie ever. Loved "Twin Peaks" and "The Elephant Man," though.

13. I was reading Lynch's book last night
Back in the day he was in Rome doing a commercial shoot. He met these two guys there, and they said "Yeah, we were hanging out with Kubrick last night, and he invited us up to his place to see his favorite film."

The film? Eraserhead.
