2. Well...me...you hipped me to them, actually

Only have Neon Bible and while I like it, I wasn't driven to go out and get other stuff. But I saw them live on Austin City limits and flipped out. You may remember...I don't know. They are hands down my favorite recent live act. I got a buddy to get a bit torrent of that and watched it many times.

No offense to the youngungs or anything, but it seems to be the Grateful Dead experience. I mean, I like the dead a lot but own like two studio works. The live show was where it's at. Same seems true here. Unbelievable control of energy in room; people lock in to what they are doing to the point that its borderline hypnotic/transcendental/ritual event that lets egos dissolve a little bit and group experiences take place in the audience and on stage and among the two.

Sorry if that lays it on a bit thick. But that's what I get from their approach to an entire show. Thanks for the heads up on this. Will be getting it soon.
