I hate phone interviews!

I always feel like I did terribly, even though I probably didn't... meh. x(

1. Aw
 I'm sure you did fine. :) (I'm not big on stuff like that either.) Hope it works out for you!

2. If nothing else, it's good practice, I guess

I do fine in in-person interviews! I am just not good at talking on the phone. :(

Thanks for the hug though.

5. Something good about everything, as my grandmother used to say
:hi: (Well, actually she was my great-grandmother, but that's beside the point.) :) I'm really not good at talking on the phone, either, so I kind of know how you feel.

3. I hate them too!
You can't see their faces so its harder to know their reactions. But I bet you did okay!

6. I'm totally the opposite. I get so uncomfortable doing the face to face thing. When I do the phone
interview, I can have all of my documents laid out in front of me. I feel much more secure that way and I feel more confident when I can talk and not focus on every little quirk that I might be expressing physically. Maybe I should go into radio or something....:-)

7. The other crazy thing about this one

was that i wasn't sure what day/time they were calling! I gave them three times, and they wrote back and said "sounds good!" Umm... which?

10. No, it was the first one

And luckily i remembered to turn my phone on, LOL! Well now it's over, no use obsessing. I don't think i screwed anything up, i just didn't feel very impressive. Sigh.

:hi:

And that's so important.

11. Seriously - there were 6 people on their end, i think

and the call quality was not good, so i had some trouble hearing some of them. I think it went alright, i just know i would have done better in person. x(

I like your new name - very elegant! :D

15. I know very few people who give good phone
Even those who work in tech support 10 hours a day on the phone aren't very good at phone interviews.

17. "give good phone"

I'm not a big fan of the phone, even for talking to friends - i'm much more of an in person/email communicator. Oh well!
