How many other DUers are feeling ill this week?
I can't shake this crappy cold. Guess I shouldn't have had a beer last night. Who would think one beer would make me feel worse again?

3. It's a bad one
And I know exactly the person I caught it from, at work, too. Worst part? My idiot co-worker gave me another cold over a year ago. From now on, I'm steering as clear away from them as physically possible!

2. Week #3
Started out with the real and authentic FLU and then developed a secondary sinus infection. 3 rounds of antibiotics and I still can't hear 100% out of my right ear and I am a snot factory.

:grr:

4. I'm wondering if I should have gone to the doctor
But I hate doctors. Hope it goes away, soon, for all of us!

5. If you can, your probably should
My problem was that I waited way to long to go. And by that time, I was one, big, walking germ.

6. I felt awful this past week.
Super tired, achy, nauseated.

Blech.

Thank goodness I seem to pretty much be over "whateverthehellthatcrapwas".

7. Hi SG!
May I ask, did it (whatever it was) sort of go in cycles? Did you feel better & then feel worse.. then better, then worse again?

8. Definitely.
I would literally fell different every 5 minutes it seemed.

On Wednesday, I stayed home from work. I was just kicked back on the couch, mindlessly surfing the interwebs, when all of a sudden I got so tired I couldn't hold my eyes open. Feel asleep and slept like a rock for 3 hours. Didn't feel much better when I woke up. :(

Finally on Friday afternoon, I noticed I was feeling much better.

I hate being sick.

11. Exactly, thanks!
Last night, I went from feeling great to almost passing out in a matter of a 1/2 hour. Thankfully, I feel a little better today.

Good to see you around, btw! :hi:

10. one month+
2nd round of antibiotics for 2nd go at sinus/ear infection...

From my post reply to KW the other day, found here

Started before Christmas as a sneezy coughing basic feel-like-crap cold , went into being a raw painful throat, then upper respiratory, then turned into a sinus and ear infection. Went on Amoxiciilin for 10 days, felt better, except one Eustachian tube remained blocked. The upper respiratory nastiness returned, the sinus infection started up again, the coughing took over again. Went to doc on Thursday. Am now on Zithromax, taking Tessalon Perles for the cough and using saline nose spray to relieve sinus pressure. The Zyth is kicking this thing's infectious ass, the Tessalon works, and the Eustachian tube has finally unblocked.
************************************

Hope you feel better soon!

13. Yeah, I've taken Zithromax before. It works well, but upsets my stomach :(
I should have stuck with my original plan from the first 3 days: Lots of juice & sleep and no drinking alcohol... oh, and heavy duty cough syrup to sleep at night.

Glad you are feeling better... and thanks.

12. Sick as the proverbial dog the day after the inauguration until essentially Friday.
Bleh. Fever, aches, sore throat, yucky.

14. I wonder if we all got a little too excited about getting a new President?! lol
That sounds about like what I have... though the fever comes and goes & I felt nauseated at times. Thanks.

16. It was truly the weirdest thing.
I played bunco Tuesday night, but came home really early to watch the balls because I was pretty curious about Michelle's gown.

Woke at 6 as usual Wednesday feeling like I had been hit by a truck. I was freezing. Couldn't get warm. Spent the day at my desk working wrapped in flannel pjs, my robe and two blankets.

I haven't felt that crappy in a long time. It went away, nothing too serious, but it sure puts a major kink in your week. I'm still trying to catch up with the laundry. :sigh:

17. I got sick Monday night
We went out to dinner for my birthday and I was exhausted by the time we got home. Tuesday morning I felt awful and have felt pretty crappy ever since. And yes, it's been sort of up and down - not too bad for a bit and than down for the count.

I had to work right up until Friday so I just bulled through but ever since, I've been huddled on the sofa with Kleenex, Thera-flu and my laptop. :(

Hope you feel better soon. Hope we ALL feel better soon. :hi:

20. Sounds like we all have the same crap
Mine started Tuesday while I was at work. Managed to get Weds. off, but have to make that up next month. I thought I had it beat until the middle of the night, last night, when I woke up coughing. Then my cat woke me up at 7am, 8:30am, 9am....ugh. :-( It's hitting me hard today. I have no idea how I'm going to make it through work tomorrow.
