Ok, fine, obscure movie quote: round 3
Where am I from? I am from you.

What keeps men out of this place on a cold rainy night? Ghosts? Demons?
No. No ghosts here.

Name this one and you can keep the title of uber movie fan.

4. Gotta love a movie ...
that has both Nazis AND a Jesus-like character. The Tangerine Dream soundtrack is cool too.

especially the score. Toto did it, didn't they? Or was it Vangelis? I can't recall...

I got to admit though, Scott Glenn didn't perform nearly as well as I would have expected. Prochnow defintely stole the show.

Hehe..Tangering Dream.

edited for facts.

6. Not a perfect movie
but still a great one. A story of parallels. Contrast the various characters with each other and you will see more than just another monster flick lurking in there.

7. There are no perfect movies :)
But you are absolutely right. The characters were fascinating. The only one I really didn't care for was that daughter of the scientist.

What I got from the film was the battle between Good and Evil being carried to the Nth degree. Both personified in similiar species, yet obviously light years apart in spirit.

I'd better stop. I could talk about that film for hours.

8. Yes well you gotta have romance
in films. I think she was added by the simple laws of supply and demand. She does not contrast with any character. The German officers are mirrors. The Jewish researcher and Preist are mirrors. Glaeken and Molosar are mirrors. She is an extra thrown in to give the other audience members something to cling to. Not everyone is going to see the character designs and be drawn in.
