4. When you find out, let me know.
:sigh:

FTR - get your vitamin D level checked. In the winter, we often don't get enough, (plus with sunscreen). Low vitamin D levels can lead to tiredness. You might want to get your thyroid checked as well.

I'm on meds for both, but I'm still tired. :sigh:

5. Vitamins, getting stuff checked? What the hell do you think I am, some kind of hypochondriac
I'll go to the doctor when I have a tumor, or my heart explodes; not for some mere tiredness.

Supposing though it were low. Anything to help with the vitamin D (other than the milk that is fortified with it, that ain't happening)

8. You can get
Vitamin D capsules, but you have to watch out for liver toxicity.

Trust me, when you're suffering from thyroid disease and can literally sleep all day and not feel rested, you head for the doctor.

Vitamin D - 1.25mg twice a week. No more.

6. I tend to either get up and stretch or take a really fast paced walk
around the block to feel better when I am tired.

7. There's no substitute for sleep.
If this is a chronic problem, try being tested for sleep apnea.

9. I learned that from 60 minutes
They had a crazy scary report on lack of sleep and how it can really mess you up.

13. I had the test done last year.
They put like 50 wires all over me, a tube on my nose and bands around my chest. Then the technician says to get in bed and get comfortable. I just started laughing.

It turned out to be positive. I woke up 5x/hour.

10. Pretend you're a national candidate giving a stump speech against a Republican
Explaining why my hypothetical opponent and his political party sucks like a singularity gets my juices flowing!
