A vacation tip - cruise to Alaska. :-)

If you've ever wanted to take a cruise to Alaska, this year is a perfect time to do it. Our local news reported tonight that bookings with the cruise lines are down because of the depressed economy, and they are offering some really good deals to encourage travelers -- as low as $475 for a week, or what comes out to about $125 a day including the taxes. You can hardly rent a hotel room for that amount.

I've never done the cruise, but have taken the ferry, and the scenery is fantastic.
