Now the closest Sha Na Na alum I could find close to Ness, wardrobe-wise was Chico (who'd be played by Adam Sandler in any Sha Na Na movie). He was more a Dirty Dan. Except that Dan did very little vocal-wise.

Santini, Donny and Jonny did most of the vocals, and none of them could carry Ness' dirty jock.

Yeah, I grew up on Sha Na Na, and I'm a total geek.

Donald Rumsfeld is giving the president his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed."

"OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!"

His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands.

And woken up with Social Distortion tattooed on your ENTIRE shin even though you only really care for the first two albums and just happened to be wearing a Social Distortion tshirt prior to your 10 or 12 shots of whiskey and now everyone and their goddamned sister give you the fucking devil horn fist thingy because they think you and them share some kind of affinity for a band who has stretched out the same four songs over their last 6 albums including a less than stellar live album that everyone thinks is "punk as fuck" and now you're branded for life and even your tattoo artist says, yeah man, you're pretty much stuck looking like a Mike Ness stalker but hey, on the bright side at least you have a ton of canvas everywhere else, right?
