I just swallowed some dish detergent!

There was a glass of some lemony smelling liquid sitting on my dryer-- I took a little swig, thinking it was lemonade. Vile! I thought I'd been poisoned. Ran upstairs to ask my husband what it was, he said it was lemony Sunlight mixed with a little water.

Gargled, drank water, but my throat still burns and i have this crappy drip in my throat. Yuch!!

years before i was born.. i think she went to the hospital, i forget...

it coats everything it touches - thats why people with ulcers drink a lot of it. Might help with the throat.

4. As a person who as a child possessed a mother -

that thought a suitable punishment included pouring liquid dish detergent down the throat of her only daughter and holding her nose so she swallowed or died of suffocation I can only say -

10. Yep. Every weekend for a couple of hours, at least.

It took YEARS to let go of hatred (on my part), anger (on my part), and whatever other horrible feelings of ill will I harbored for her, but I'm over it. The dishsoap thing is also the LEAST of it.

I have found that talking to her via the telephone from 2500 miles away is MUCH easier than dealing with her in person, however, and that hasn't changed. I was just home (MI) for the first 3 weeks in January because my stepfather had a massive heart attack and almost died. I was inclined to put HER in the hospital as well during my stay there. lol

She's an odd bird. Was TERRIBLE to me throughout my childhood, and really never let up on me until I moved to WA. Her attitude changed a bit then. She's a VERY negative person.
