Ever had a stomach ache like this? Last night I had a dull ache in

my stomach, around my waist. No other symptoms.

All I could think was I wanted the pain to STOP. Finally dozed off and woke at 5:15 and thank goodness the pain was gone.

Only thing I think might've caused it is I ate supper too fast and didn't chew the food thoroughly enough.

Anyone have any experience to share?

1. I once had diverticulitis that exhibited similar symptoms...

2. That's how the whole gallbladder thing started for me.
And then, one night, the dull aching became a screaming, hot sword through my midsection. I woke up MrG, telling him to get me out of the house so I wouldn't die in front of the kids. In a few words, go see a doctor. And feel better.

4. Yeah, my first thought, also.
The dreaded gall stones. Nasty little buggers..
can keep you up all night with excruciating pain.

Tikki...bt..dt.
p.s. one night the pain was so bad I wrote out my will on a paper towel.

3. Don't think it could be your stomach if it was at the waist

More likely small intestine. I echo the earlier suggestion about seeing a doctor.
