I'm not starting it for another two weeks yet. My other meds were changed today, so Dr wants me to adjust to my new doses before adding a new drug so we can monitor the effects more easily, see if i get side effects or how well its working etc.

I've opted for a tablet instead of smoke because apparently the tab doesn't affect your brain in the same way. I found when I smoked up for pain it just made me way way more conscious of the pain, and weird. Was actually worse, but I'm willing to try another form.

I hadn't seen you around lately and worried about you on and off for the last few months. How are things going for you?

Some things are good, some are tragically awful. But, I'm dealin' with it. What else is there to do, right? I'm really hoping I'll start seeing some change at least in my pain soon. I have a Dr now who's willing to take over my case who isn't afraid to deal with my medication issues. Up to now, I haven't had a real Dr as he left his practise and I just see random people all the time. They would always refuse to up my dosages on my pain meds and treated me like some sort of junkie or something. (All the drs were at the same clinic, and had my file and history, not just like random places all over or anything). It was a huge problem, because while I understand the need to be careful with narcotic prescriptions, you also have to be helping your patient. And when your patient can't get up out of bed or take a shower or cook etc because she's in so much pain, up the fucking drugs already. And, as this Dr said to me, there is no point doing it the way they were, waiting months to change my dose when it had already been ineffective for a while. So, he's changed my doses for all my stuff I'm already on, and in two weeks once I see how this is working I'm going on the pot, and he'll monitor my pain control far more closely and make sure I get stronger doses at appropriate intervals. So, I'm hopeful. And I'm just waiting on another MRI appointment that may give someone some more information for diagnosis.
