I got a call from my alma mater asking for donations...

The girl on the phone said, "So can we count on you for a donation of $150.00"?

I jokingly coughed and said, "You've got to be kidding?!"

The starting donations used to be fifty bucks...now it is one hundred and fifty??

WTF?!

1. In my experience, callers always ask for 2-3 times your previous donation

Then they hope you settle for something 1-1.5 times your previous donation.
