Haven't been around much lately, so I thought I'd pop in and say hola.

We made it through the holiday craziness with the kids home from school and visiting family members for two solid weeks.

On top of all that, MrShine talked me into hosting a New Year's Eve party for 30 people after I'd had 3 glasses of wine. No fair.

The party was a success, of course. The holidays were a blend of stress and sweetness.

I'm so glad they're over and I'm ready to begin a new year.

I'm also happy and proud to report I got straight A's for my very first quarter of graduate school! :bounce:
