Whoa... I just created the strangest ice cream float ever.
Instead of using root beer I used Jones black cherry soda. And instead of plain vanilla ice cream I used cookie dough ice cream.

Some weird reaction happened between the various substances, and somehow the heat sublimated from the water to the ice cream. So I had veins of ice running through the whole thing, and then a bunch of loose cookie dough chunks that fell to the bottom because the ice cream around them had melted. :P

6. I think the weird chemical part came because it was sugar-free soda
and no sugar added ice cream. :P

I don't remember what brand of ice cream it was though, and I finished off the carton with that last night.
