Crispini Reviews: Burn After Reading
Dudes. Rent this immediately. Clooney, Pitt, Malkovitch, and the Coen brothers directing. What's not to like? I blame you, DU, for not telling me about this awesome little gem earlier. Two thumbs up!

10. I love Raising Arizona. My favorite line has to be the big black guy at the prison group
"Sometimes I get the menstrual cramps real hard"

I swear I have no clue how they got that one filmed without the guy cracking up laughing

5. I watched it this evening. Great film.
I'm not sure if it has the density of the earlier films, but it's probably not meant to.

What a wonderful study of the underside of things, coming to be more important than any conscious planning.

7. the bits with "the agency" in the office were just too funny
I do adore the Coen brothers, when they're not being over the top gruesome, and sometimes I like them even then, but they are a bit harder to take when they go there.

8. Agreed about the Agency scenes.
Clearance level 3? Oh, no problem.

Perspective is -everything-, which is one of the reasons I love their films.

9. I liked the movie but I didn't think it was as funny as I was expecting
The violence seemed to undermine the humor for me.

Still, I liked the movie and would like to see it again.
