Clove dominates this sweet, but hoppy beer.

Bitter, sweet and clovey - this is a good one. Especially if you love clove.

Is it a seasonal beer, or is there a chance I could catch it if I'm back in the US this spring?

3. It is seasonal, and right now I think you can only get it in California

However, Stone Brewing has been doing a lot of stuff in England as of late, and I heard you guys are getting the Stone IPA now.

If you are in Europe, Try Houblon Chouffe Dobbelen IPA Tripel, Piraat or Urthel Hop-It. Those are the beers the Cali-Belgique was based on (kinda). Also, if you can find Green Flash Le Freak that one is good too.

If you love clove, I recommend to get into the Belgian Beers, since those tend to have the clove flavor more than any other.

4. oh, I've had all of those that you mentioned

There's a bar in my town that serves Chouffe, and it really took me back to my time in France the last few years, that are now sadly gone.

I've only had one Green Flash beer, and that was in San Diego. It was ok.... I'm afraid that I can't remember which one it was - an IPA of some sort.
