Question about itunes on a mac

I just uploaded an album and the songs went in the reverse order? Is there a way to get them in the right order, and does anyone know why this happened?

I'm very new to ITunes, obviously.

by the way the CD is Lucinda Williams Little Honey- wow- she covers AC/DCs "long way to the top" - WOW!!!

1. double click on the album and look at the songs

then along the top, the section headings, you can click those and sort the songs in a number of ways.
